Holiday Takedown and Storage, Fully Handled

Many San Diego homes have little attic space and garages that already work hard. Holiday bins take over shelves and parking spots for eleven months of the year. Our off site storage gives that space back, and our labeled inventory means your favorite pieces are never lost or broken.

Tall trees and roofline lights are also where most holiday injuries happen. Our insured crew uses the right ladders, lifts and safety equipment, so nobody in your household has to climb onto a roof in January. We protect floors, banisters and landscaping as we work.

Takedown is also the perfect moment to plan ahead. As we pack, we note which pieces you loved, what needs replacing and what you might change next year. Clients who book their next season early enjoy first choice of install dates, and the design conversation starts from a complete record of this year.

Takedown is available as a standalone service or as part of any GC Design Decor holiday package. If another company installed your lights, or your family decorated the home yourselves, we are glad to step in at the end of the season. We photograph each room before we begin so that next year your decor can be installed exactly as you liked it, or refreshed with new ideas while keeping the pieces that matter most to your family.

Every client receives a simple inventory after takedown, listing what was packed, what was stored and any pieces that need repair or replacement. Fragile heirlooms are wrapped individually and boxed separately, and outdoor lighting is coiled and tagged by location so it goes back exactly where it belongs. When the next season arrives, your home is decorated faster and more beautifully because the planning is already done.
