Designed for Ocean Bluffs, Tight Lots and Village Charm
Bird Rock has a village feel that sets it apart from the rest of La Jolla. Homes sit close together on walkable streets off La Jolla Boulevard, many with ocean glimpses toward the tide pools and the rock formation the neighborhood is named for. We design holiday looks that suit that relaxed coastal character: natural greenery, warm white light and a refined palette that feels like part of the home rather than a theme park.
Space is precious on a Bird Rock lot, so our designers think in inches. We choose tree heights and profiles that fit cozy living rooms and vaulted remodels alike, and we scale wreaths and garland to entries that face the sidewalk. Exterior lighting is planned so it reads beautifully from the street without spilling into a neighbor's windows.
Salt air and onshore breezes are hard on holiday decor. Every exterior strand we install is outdoor rated, clips are chosen for stucco, shingle and wood siding, and we check connections so lights stay bright through December. Because many Bird Rock homes are steps from the coffee shops and the coastal walk, our crews park thoughtfully, work quickly and leave the street as tidy as we found it.
